And do you like to be involved within a broad playing field of stakeholders?
What are you going to do?
An inspiring team with driven professionals, office in Amsterdam. The Energy Transition Studies research group within the TNO Energy Transition unit develops knowledge and provides strategic advice on the transition to sustainable energy management. This group is growing rapidly because more and more attention is being paid to energy transition in general and to our research results in particular. TNO operates on a non-commercial basis as a ‘knowledge broker’ between governments, market parties and knowledge institutions. The research group is highly regarded by our clients and collaboration partners such as ministries in the Netherlands and other countries, the European Commission, companies and other organizations working on the energy transition in the built environment, industry associations and other knowledge institutions.
The research group works with an international, multidisciplinary team of engineers, economists and social scientists on solutions for technical-economic and social issues of the energy transition. The roles, motives and (im)possibilities of governments, companies and residents to contribute (in mutual cooperation) to the transition process in the neighborhood are central to our research.
